Governor visits Annual Art Exhibition of JJ School of Art

Mumbai: The Governor of Maharashtra Ch Vidyasagar Rao visited the Annual Art Exhibition of the Sir J J Institute of Applied Art and the Sir J J School of Art on Monday (23 Feb) and appreciated the works of undergraduate and post graduate students and teachers. This is the 80th year of the Exhibition. The Governor first visited the Exhibition put up by the students of Institute of Applied Art and saw the works of photography, typography, illustrations, design display, computer graphics and stage craft. The Governor then visited the heritage building of Sir J J School of Arts and witnessed the exhibited paintings, sculpture, Ceramics, Textile design, Interior Decoration and Metal Craft. The Governor also saw the works of great artists preserved in the Dean’s Chamber. Director of Arts and Dean of the Sir J J Institute of Applied Art Prof G G Waghmare and Dean of the Sir J J School of Art Vishwanath Sable showed the Governor around the exhibition. a (2)_resize 1_resize 1111_resize 11111_resize
