Haryana got first Punjabi BJP CM

Chandigarh: Manohar Lal Khattar was selected by the BJP to be its first Chief Minister of Haryana. He is the first Punjabi CM of Jat dominated state. After MLAs selected him as leader, Khattar reached the Raj Bhawan and handed over a letter to Governor Kaptan Singh Solanki. The Governor accepted the claim and invited Khattar to form the governmen. He will take oath on October 26. The function will be held at Tau Devi Lal stadium, Panchkula.
