He added that a terrorist forfeits his entitlement to human rights the day he resorts to terrorism which is the biggest violation of human rights. Dr Jitendra Singh first paid a visit to security personnel posted on the border and and exchange greetings on Diwali with them. Addressing a public meeting, comprising ex-servicemen, their families and local residents, and organized by “Seema Jan Kalyan Samiti”, Dr Jitendra Singh said, those who target the military or para-military personnel are the ones who do not have the courage to call a terrorist a terrorist or to condemn the atrocious act of mutilating the dead body of martyred Indian soldier, but find Army a convenient soft target because Indian Army, being one of the most disciplined forces of the world, is trained to exercise restraint while a terrorist, who is not constrained to follow any rule of law, will immediately retaliate and put their life to risk. Reiterating that Diwali of 2016 is dedicated to Indian Army and India’s Para-Military forces, Dr Jitendra Singh said that semblance of Diwali in the country today is because of the young soldiers who are guarding the borders. He added that project has been undertaken to build 1140 updated Sulabh toilets in the border villages, out of which over 150 have been completed. He also added that the construction of bunkers along the border areas has already started from LoC.
