Infosys Co-founder gives CLIFE mantra to IIT-Gn students

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Gandhinagar: IIT Gandhinagar celebrated the hard work and determination of students through a joyful 5th Convocation of the Institute held on Saturday, 6th August 2016, at permanent campus in Palaj, Gandhinagar. Shri Senapathy “Kris” Gopalakrishnan, Co-founder, Infosys and Founder, Axilor Ventures Private Limited delivered the convocation address. He said that the Bill Gates told an important point in a keynote speech at the 50th anniversary celebrations of the founding of IIT at the Flint Center, Cupertino, CA. Describing IIT as a 'world class institute,' 'incredible institution,' and 'a unique institution,' Gates said that the impact of IIT has been worldwide. IIT is a world treasure. Kris told the students that we, at Infosys stick to following Mantra of CLIFE: C - Customer Delight L - Leadership Values example leadership of Gandhiji I - Integrity and Transparency F - Fairness E - Pursuit of Excellence He advised students to strive for excellence in all fields of life. Dr. Sudhir K. Jain, Director, Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar told the success story of IIT Gandhinagar and requested students to contribute back to society after completing the study. Degrees were conferred upon 262 graduate and 12 PG students. One student, Gaurav Sharma copmpleted his B.Tech. (Minor & Management) course in 7th semester.
