Israeli PM presents a unique gift to the Indian PM: A Mobile Water Desalination Van

  • Gandhinagar: Israeli Prime Minister Mr. Benjamin Netanyahu has presented a unique gift to the Indian Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi. Mr. Netanyahu, on his visit to the state, has gifted a Mobile Water Desalination Van to Mr. Modi.
  • The mobile van has been gifted through a video conference by both the PMs to the BSF personnel who guard the border area of the district of Banaskantha in the village Suigam. The peculiarity of this van is that it purifies 20 thousand liters of sea water and 80 thousand liters of river water per day.
  • It is to be noted that Mr.Modi visited Israel in the year 2017 wherein both the PMs had taken a ride on this van on the beach. Mr.Modi understood the process of desalination and even tested a sample of water that time.
