Kiran Bedi gives 3T Mantra to students

Be Trustworthy, Talented & Tenacious, said former supercop in the Convocation of Raksha Shakti University

  • Gandhinagar:  Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Rupani awarded degree certificates and medals to 338 brilliant students of Raksha Shakti University in presence of Lieutenant Governor of Pondicherry and Former IPS Officer Ms. Kiran Bedi. The convocation ceremony of renowned Raksha Shakti University was organized here in Town Hall of Gandhinagar. During the ceremony Mr. Rupani expressed his commitment to establish Raksha Shakti University as the best university of internal security across the world.
  • In this context Mr. Rupani clearly said that in ancient era students eager to earn and learn knowledge from across the world were coming to our Nalanda, Takshashila and Vallabhi Vishwa Vidyapith of Gujarat. In the same Raksha Shakti University should reach as much height to attract global students to Gandhinagar – Gujarat for earning knowledge of security, and challenges such as cyber security & crime in modern era.
  • Congratulating the students for getting degree certificate and award Mr. Rupani said that the students of Raksha Shakti University are different from others. Their dignity is very special for society. Performing Job should not be their only goal. Education is a syllabus and initiation is preparation for path of life the combination of both is said as convocation. The mind set for police and security has changed in 15 years, he added.
  • Mr. Rupani added that a new horizon of knowledge has emerged in Gujarat through universities like GFSU, Yoga University, Organic University, Marine University, and Children University due to the vision of PM Modi. Even the Raksha Shakti University (RSU)   is his brainchild which has been shining brightly on the map of India.
  • The university is five steps ahead with a full proof planning to protect itself against cyber-crime and various other crimes. Talking about PM’s visit to Israel, he said that the bi-lateral pacts between India-Israel also include the aspect of security and Gujarat will be a forerunner to make the nation feel a sense of security, he added.
  • The Lieutenant Governor of Pondicherry Ms. Kiran Bedi suggested of making RSU an open university by making the courses available online so that it can be accessible for one and all. The university is capable of providing a new platform through video-conferencing, exchange program, field training etc, she added. She gave Mantra of 3T to student, i.e. Trustworthy, Talented & Tenacious.
  • Minister of State for Home Department Mr. Pradeepsinh Jadeja said that unless we become educated about the laws of safety and security, we won’t be able to protect the society and the RSU is providing training and education to the youth of the state in this aspect. The complete ban on alcohol, hookah bars across the state and cow-breed slaughter act has been due to the visionary approach of our Chief Minister, Mr. Rupani.
  • The Director General of the university Mr. Vikas Sahay presented the education report of the university during his address. Additional Chief Secretary of Home Department Mr. Dagur, Director General of Police Ms. Geetha Johri, members of the Board of Directors from RSU and senior police officials were remained present.
