Modi congratulates John Key on re-election as PM​ of New Zealand

New Delhi: The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has congratulated Mr. John Key for being re-elected for the third term as the Prime Minister of New Zealand​.  "​Congratulations to ​Mr. John Key & the N​ew Zealand​ National Party for the victory in the General Election​," the Prime Minister said. PM greets Japanese PM Shinzo Abe on his birthday Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has tweeted birthday greetings to Prime Minister of Japan, Mr. Shinzo Abe.  ​"​I pray for ​Mr. Shinzo Abe`s long life, good health ​and wish him the best in leading Japan to new heights of progress​," the Prime Minister said.​ The Prime Minister went on to praise the leadership of Prime Minister Abe and emphasized both countries` commitment to promoting Indo-Japan relations. "Whenever I interact with ​him, I cannot but marvel at his insight ​and expertise on a wide range of issues, both local ​and international.​ Both PM ​Abe and I are committed to taking India-Japan relations to the next level ​and contributing to global peace ​and development​," the Prime Minister said.​
