[vc_row][vc_column width="1/1"][vc_column_text]Mumbai: China Gate Banquets played host to the moment that marked meeting of the maestros in a single song… Anup Jalota and Pankaj Udhas, friends for decades, rendered the song Zindagi that spells out the meaning of life in its truest form… Says Anup Jalota, “it was not pre-planned. We are the best of friends and have worked together earlier in the album Destiny, but not in a single song. We loved every moment of the singing and the video. “ Adds, Pankaj Udhas, “this song marks that moment when we come together in the same number, and the philosophy of the song is like the essence of our friendship…” Adds composer Nikhil Kamath, “it is a moment to cherish when the two legends come together performing on the same song. When lyricist Vimal Kashyap came up with the verses, I knew only the two maestros coming together would do the song justice.". Adds Krishna Tamang, “The coming together of maestros went with the thought of China Gate, where we always strive to be a notch above the best. It is simply a perfect brandfit.”
Other than the maestros, Anup Jalota and Pankaj Udhas, composer Nikhi Kamath, lyricist Vimal Kashyap, Krishna Tamang, Shriya Tamang, Talat Aziz, Mudasir Ali, Preety Bhalla, director Chandra Barot, Deepa Barot, Tori Dutta Roy, Anee Chatterjee, Deepu Paul, Singer Lalitya Munshaw, Dr. Mukul Dabholkar and Sasha Dabholkar graced the function. The song Zindagi is a part of Anup Jalota’s latest venture, Hum Baja Bajaa Denge that hits the silver screens on March 27.
