Felicitation of Indian-Australians in October

Sydney: Ambassador, Andrew O' Keefe (Host from Weekend Sunrise & Deal or No Deal), Channel 7 at the first ever India Australia Business & Community Awards (IABCA) on Friday 31st of October 2014 at Sydney Town Hall. The awards aim to recognise the role played by Indian-Australians through arts, education, technology and travel. IABCA will engage, connect and recognise the role played by Indian Australians in shaping this state.Hon. Dominic Franci s Perrottet, LLB, BCOM MP State Minister for Finance and Services will be addressing business and community leaders at IABCA. Master of ceremonies, Janice Petersen Presenter, SBS World News who will unveil a cultural showcase on the night - the Best of East and West, a live spectacular. An independent industry panel has assessed the ten nominations over a four week process. IABCA is brain child of Sonia Gandhi, Paul Harris Fellow, Director of Gandhi Creations and the Global Origin for Indian People Awards Winner for 2012 for Community Arts & Culture. She is also on the Australia India Business Council - Media and Women's Chapter. She has experience in delivering over 500 events throughout her career including the Premier's Harmony Dinner and the Premier's Multicultural Media Awards.
