Honda to set up two-wheeler plant near Ahmedabad
Gandhinagar: Honda company signed an MOU for setting up plant to manufacture scooters and bikes in India.
CEO cum president of Honda Mr. Koito Maramutsi and Additional chief secretary D.J.Pandian signed on the MOU. Chief minister of Gujarat Mrs. Anandiben Patel was present on the ocassion.
The plant will be set up near Vitthalapur of Ahmedabad district of Gujarat at the cost of Rs. 1100 Crore. The plant will have facilities to manufacture 102 million two-wheelers. This will bring 2000 direct job opportunities in India.
