Solving a real life problem makes you an Innovator and if one can execute the idea better, it leads to a successful start-up. Youth today is impatient and keep exploring platforms to showcase their skills and build new enterprises. This happened with a young student, Shreyash Oswal who left his 10 lac per anum job after finishing college in Ahmedabad and chased his dream to solve challenges being faced by small merchants and local enterprise who struggle to acquire and retain customers. Shreyash, founder of AIM technologies is offering deep technology based services to local merchants which personalizes their advertising and make their customers’ experience better. His work being supported by GTU Innovation Council and Start-up Center has awarded as top 3 Technology Innovation by Dept. of Education, Government of Gujarat.

Shreyash Oswal, founder of AIM technologies discussing strategies
Shreyash leads a team of 10 person while solving the problem of local Merchants using Artificial Intelligence and other deep technology tools. Their start-up is in process of registering an Intellectual Property (IP) for their unique algorithm and technology process. India is a country whose growth is driven majorly by small businesses. The economy is driven by these businesses and they provide jobs to millions of people collectively. With the advent of large players in retail sectors like Amazon, Flipkart and in FMCG sector like Big Basket and Grofers, it’s difficult for local businesses to compete quite often. These large companies have cutting edge technology which can be used to personalize the experience for customers. Shreyash and his team is trying to address this through their start-up in Ahmedabad and is trying to help the small retail supermarkets and restaurants who neither have technology know how nor the budget to hire to provide same level of experience to their customers. They are aiming to support over 12 lakh small stores all over Gujarat within 5 years, facilitating over 5000 direct and indirect jobs to be created within 3 year.

Solving a right problem with right attitude is key mantra for success for early stage start-ups. If they build a minimum viable product , test early, pivot when needed and stay close to customers, they are bound to hit the nail. India produces 5 million graduates a year across its 700 plus universities and even if we can give a conducive platform to harness 1 % of the creative youth, we can create an organic movement through young innovators and start-ups. They are bound to create huge socio-economic impact with ample job creation. When they solve a real issue, they not only become a better professional but a better human being.

AIM Technologies, founded by Shreyash also has been selected by GTU Innovation Council and Start-up Center for financial support under Student Start-up and Innovation Policy of Government of Gujarat. Shreyash says”Early stage mentoring and timely seed fund is quite a help for student start-ups like me to execute the idea and validate early users. We have validated our tool for its end to end offer from campaign creation to customer analytics, Ad creation and Personalized ad delivery, ensuring quality services in each stage of consumer journey.” The start-up has already acquired 20 customers and confident of leveraging its technology platform to upscale its impact in accelerative manner.
The machine learning algorithm of our start-up analyses variety of datasets from users and creates custom ads for each individual and those ads are sent to them. This has increased customer loyalty and larger market acquisitions within limited budget for small merchants and its end users. This is a boon to the local semi organized market.
- Pradeep, Junior Data Scientist at AIM

Shreyash fondly calls his tool as Advertising through Intelligent Machinery (A.I.M.) technologies and confident of creating huge value for super markets, semi organized merchants, restaurants, and other small to medium to business units. We have a unique tool called “Project S.P.A.C.E.” an acronym for “Shoppers Purchase Analysis and Classification Engine”. This product analyses the consumer purchase behavior and the factors which are dominant in determining purchase of the particular customer. This start-up helps the merchants to decide to fix price points in scientific manner, create new discount strategy based on nature of users, position products based on user’s pattern of buying and also helps to create brand loyalty.
“The start-up like AIM technologies is helping to analyze better consumer behaviour than any existing solution, and thus providing most precise advertising capabilities as claimed by the early users”
