Maharashtra Governor attends Prakash Purab of Guru Nanak Dev

The Governor of Maharashtra Bhagat Singh Koshyari attended the Prakash Purab of Guru Nanak Dev Ji on the occasion of 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak.

The Prakash Purab celebrations were organized by the Guru Singh Sabha at Dewan Chand Ram Saran Compound near Bhakti Park, Wadala Mumbai on Tuesday (12th Nov)

Paying rich tributes to Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the Governor said the tradition of Langar has its roots in the teachings of Guru Nanak.

The Governor released specially minted gold and silver coins on the occasion. Charanjit Singh Sapra, Raghubir Singh Gill, President of Guru Singh Sabha, Manmohan Singh, General Secretary, Harinder Singh, Trustee and thousands of devotees were present.
