Go Dharmic hosted an amazing fundraising dinner at Northamptonshire County Cricket Club. The event was graced by very special guests to support a great initiative. Northamptonshire County Cricket Club kindly stepped forward as co-hosts for the evening with club chairman Gavin Warren keeping the audience thoroughly entertained with his brilliant wit and humor.
The ‘Sport For Good’ charity dinner was well attended and supported by a number of sporting icons like Brain Stein former Luton & England football legend, Maria Costello MBE, the fastest woman on a motorcycle. Neil Burns, former Leicestershire, and Essex first-class player and head of London County. Northamptonshire Cricket players Rob Keogh, Rob Newton, and head coach David Ripley were also present.
Other notable guests included Zara Balfour, award-winning director of the movie Children of the Snowland, Dolly Ahuja, Mrs. India UK, million-copy bestselling author Louise Jenson, Om Gurung MBE, Regimental Sergeant Major with the Gurkha Signals, Dr. Ken West, Performance Scientist and Dr. Brian Hemmings, CEO of Golf Mind.

Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported Barry’s Everest Marathon as well as the Sport for Good event. England cricket legend and long-time Go Dharmic supporter Monty Panesar donated auction items and mingled with guests, helping the fundraising effort for Barry Goudriaan’s effort to run the Original Everest Marathon for GD schools in India, Nepal and South Africa. The funds raised will go towards the much-needed development of underprivileged government schools, some of which Barry will be visiting when he travels to Nepal for the Original Everest Marathon in December.
