Gujarat CM meets the delegates from Japan, Israel and Netherlands

- Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Rupani had a successful meeting with representatives of Japanese companies today. The CM remembered the contribution of Prime Minister and the then Chief Minister of Gujarat Mr. Narendra Modi who started the Vibrant Gujarat Summit way back in 2003. Japan has been a partner country since the inception of the summit and the ties between Gujarat and Japan have fostered year by year despite challenges.
- The CM considered Japan as an Old Friend of Gujarat and said that investment of a number of Japanese companies in Gujarat have encouraged a number of other companies to invest in the state. Mr. Yoshishiko Isozaki, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry from Japan, along with 15 representatives deliberated on ways to foster economic ties with the state through co-operation in projects such as Make in India and Skill India. The representatives said that Gujarat is a business friendly state and we are looking forward to strengthen ties on various fronts.
- The CM urged various financial companies from Japan to establish their offices at GIFT city in Gujarat and also urged the Japanese companies to join in the MSME sector.
- Chief Minister of Gujarat Mr. Vijay Rupani welcomed the representatives of Netherlands today and talked of fostering ties in the field of technology to realise the Kalpsar Yojana and development of Dholera SIR. He further proposed of possibilities in the field of port development, maritime, and drainage and praised the innovations of Netherlands.
- The CM said that Gujarat has provided a large market of global companies to invest through its business friendly policies and rapid industrial growth. The delegation led by Minister of Taxation and Customs Mr. Menno Snel of Netherlands showed a keen interest to invest in the field of agriculture, energy, manufacturing etc. in Gujarat.
- 6 MoUs were signed in fields of Waste to Energy, Smart City with Vadodara Municipal Corporation, Wind Energy, Solar Panels, agriculture and medical facilities.
