L&T Construction Wins Orders Valued Rs. 802 Cr

[vc_row][vc_column width="1/1"][vc_column_text]Mumbai: The Power Transmission and Distribution (PT&D) business of L&T Construction has won orders worth Rs. 802 crores in the domestic and international markets in April 2015. In the domestic market, Rural Electrification projects under the Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Vidyutikaran Yojana (RGGVY) schemes have been bagged in Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal from Dakshinanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited and West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited respectively. Additional orders have also been received for the Solar Business. On the International front, an order has been bagged from a private developer for engineering, procurement & construction of a 132/11kV substation in the Middle East. The Power Transmission & Distribution business is a leading EPC player in the field of T&D business offering integrated solutions and end to end services ranging from design, manufacturing, supply, installation and commissioning of transmission lines, underground cable networks (both power and control), substations, distribution networks, electrical and instrumentation works for power, process and infrastructure projects, in both Domestic and International markets. On the renewable energy side, the business provides turnkey EPC services for projects on photovoltaic and concentrated solar power plants.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
