She mentioned it will generate plenty of employment opportunities for the youth and uplift the poor class. She mentioned increase in the grant given to Gram Panchayat and forming of around 300 rurban clusters will give a boost to rural economy. By May 2018 provision for providing electricity and road connectivity to all villages is made in the budged which will further give a facelift to rural India. She stated budget will give all round impetus to economy with focus laid on nine pillars includes welfare of farmers and development of agriculture sector, rural employment and infrastructure, education, skills and job creations, financial sector reforms, healthcare and more.
CM Smt Patel mentioned budget 2016 will fulfill aspiration of common man and uplift the poor. She in particular appreciated announcement of providing free LPG connections in the name of woman member of a family to 1.5 cr BPL households in 2016-17. She said it’s a balanced budget which has unprecedented focus on digital literacy, quality education and skill training which will help in fulfilling aspiration of youth. Approval of ‘Standup India’ scheme with allocation of Rs 500 crores for Schedule caste and schedule tribes and women entrepreneurs will fulfill their entrepreneurial aspirations she mentioned. CM Smt Patel appreciated the initiatives taken in the health sector like insurance coverage under New Health Protection scheme and provision of dialysis of facility in district hospitals.
