59 Lok Sabha Constituencies across 7 States and a Union Territory headed to Polls
Over 10 crore 1 lakh 75 thousand voters to decide fate of 918 candidates
Over 1 lakh 12 thousand polling stations in place for smooth conduct of polls
Himachal Pradesh will go to Polls in Phase-7 of General Elections on Sunday, 19th May. Polls will be held in all 4 Parliamentary Constituencies (PC) of Kangra, Mandi, Hamirpur, and Shimla on 19th May. 45 candidates,including 1 female candidate, are in fray for the 4Lok Sabha seats. The only female candidate is contesting from Kangra PC.As per the data available, there are 5330154 voters in the state out of which 2724111 are males, 2605996 females and 47 third gender voters.
7730 Polling stations have been set up for elections to 4 Lok Sabha seats with Kangra, Mandi, Hamirpur PCs as General Seats whereas Shimla PC is reserved for SC.As per Form 7A available on Election Commission website, 11 candidates are contesting from Kangra, 17 from Mandi, 11 from Hamirpur and 6 from Shimla.
8 Parliamentary Constituencies (PCs) of Nalanda, Patna Sahib, Patliputra, Ara, Buxar, Sasaram, Karakat and Jahanabad in Bihar will go to Polls in Phase-7 of General Elections on 19th May.
157 candidates, including 20 female candidates are in fray for these 8 Lok Sabha seats. Nalanda, Patna Sahib, Patliputra, Ara, Buxar, Karakat and Jahanabad PCs are General Seats while Sasaram PC is reserved for SC.
As per the data issued by CEO Bihar, there are total 15252608 voters in these 8 PCs, out of which 8095447 are males, 7156660 females and 501 third gender voters. 15,811 Polling stations have been set up in this phase of elections in Bihar.
