This mega exhibition has been showcased in approximately 1,50,000 sq. m. premises and more than 14 theme based 1500 stalls have been created. More than 1500 companies are participating along with world’s leading countries.
Some of the major pavilions housed at the VGGTS 2017 are Automobiles, Agro & Food, Aerospace & Defense, Energy & Petrochemicals, Environment, Healthcare, Pharma, Biotech, Engineering & Manufacturing, Urban Mobility & Infrastructure, Maritime, R&D, IT - ITES & financial services Skills & Education, Textiles and special focus Pavilions on International organizations, Women Entrepreneurs, MSME and Start-Ups.
Exhibition of ‘Statue of Unity’ and Swatch Bharat Abhiyan and Clean Ganga became a matter of attraction. Also pavilions of bright development journey of Gujarat and future development potential sectors also created. The Exhibition has been designed to achieve representation from Corporate Sector, Public Sector, PSUs, innovations, startups, MSME, women entrepreneurs as well as other countries. Separate Exhibition on making of the Statue of Unity of Sardar VallabhBhai Patel has been displayed. On this occasion, Union Minister Mr. Purushottam Rupala, Gujarat Chief Minster Mr. Vijaybhai Rupani, Minister Mr. Ganpatsinh Vasava, Mr. Nanubhai Vasani, Mr. Rohitbhai Patel, other cabinet members, Principal Secretary to Chief Minster Mr. K. Kailashnathan, Principal Secretary of Tourism Department Mr. S. J. Haidar and other dignitaries were remained present.
