  • Ahmedabad: International body ‘uniRank’ has recently released 2018 ranking list of top Indian institutes. University of Delhi (DU) New Delhi has been considered the top university of the country; whereas, Gujarat Technological University (GTU) got the place in top 20 universities of India. GTU reached on 16th Rank & it is the only university of Gujarat, which reached up to top 20, Prof.(Dr) Navin Sheth, Vice Chancellor of GTU said.
  • uniRank is the leading international higher education directory and search engine featuring reviews and rankings of over 13,600 officially recognized Universities and Colleges in 200 countries. The prestigious ranking has covered all public & private 878 institutions of India. This year, uniRank has published the 2018 Indian University Ranking of 878 recognized Indian higher-education institutions chronologically for their being the most popular in India. Here, the objective is to reflect the popularity of the universities’ web pages. It provides the opportunity to obtain information about how the university or college is popular for the national and international students and academic staff. The uniRank selection criteria was based on the factors that the institutions must be accredited by the appropriate Indian higher education-related organization; offering bachelor or master or doctoral degrees; and, delivering courses in a traditional, face-to-face, non-distance education format.
